VERY Sweet |

During my pre-op time I've been taste-tasting protein products including powders. Not surprising, as the name implies, this is not a chocolate flavor - it is a very sweet chocolate flavor. There is no evil whey smell (which is a total turn off for me) and it have a good flavor. More of a dessert sweetness than a morning flavor for me.

I had bought the samples first to make sure I liked this brand, after I tried the samples I order 2 of this one. I have found a little trick to make it a little thicker. I'm preop, so I'm trying to lose some weight before the surgery and need to cut back on Calories. So I didn't want to use milk, I put a scoop of the Chocolate Cake in the shaker then add the 8oz of water, shake well then throw it in the freezer for about 15-20 minutes and it becomes so much thicker. I am really happy with this protein powder. Here is the really strange part, Chocolate is usually not my favorite flavor! Go figure.
